My device is brand new, but other people are already complaining that they are not able to hear my voice very well when I make phone calls on my p565. I am not using speaker phone or headset, just holding the phone to my ear. They say my voice sounds very soft and muffled. Is there a way to increase the microphone sensitivity? Could it be a problem with the noise cancellation feature? If so, does anybody know how to adjust it?

Registry tweaks, patches, mods... any fix would be greatly appreciated.

I have same problem. I own a brand new Asus P565. It occurs a lot of these phones have problems with microphone sensitivity. I sent mine for servicing. Even with the mainboard replaced, the problem remains. Sent it again - now Asus claims it works properly. I see many users have the same problem and Asus won't admit the fault. Most of the phone's reviews concentrate on the performance but the phone is useless for simple calling.
Hope the more users report the problem the more chance Asus will eventually release fix.
Anyone found a fix for this? For sure this is my last Asus phone...

Noone has the same problem? I sent my phone for servicing. First time they replaced mainboard, the problem remained. Second and third time they said the phone complied with the specs. I suppose the specs are so vague one cannot get the phone repaired as long as it works... Sad

Just to warn potential asus customers: do not buy it! Not at least before you have a chance to test it. The service is totally unreliable so don't count on it.

And there is a little hope there - a pda forum member said he can repair the phone Very Happy. We'll see. Apart from playing games, the phone is useless anyway.

I have to admit that I gave up on this phone long ago. I just happened to check back to see if anybody found a fix just for kicks. What is this about someone possibly being able to resolve this issue? Any leads would be helpful.
